Get ready to shuffle up and deal at our exciting new Poker Night! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a curious newcomer, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills, enjoy some friendly competition and have the potential to qualify for regional and national Redtooth competitions, as-well as the potential opportunity to play in Las Vegas.
What to Expect:
The card game : Texas Hold’em
Our league is based solely at Woodfield Social & Sports Club.
Games are played every Monday for 13 weeks.
£5 entry fee to be paid on the night (No re-buys).
Points are awarded on finishing positions.
Top four players from Woodfield at the end of the season will qualify for quarterly regional finals, with the top three players automatically qualifying and Woodfield has a choice of either the fourth placed player qualifying or staging a play-off game on a separate night.
Woodfield’s winner will be presented with a glass trophy and certificate at a presentation ceremony held at the Redtooth regional finals.
There are 72 regional finals nationwide each year, where our four winners compete against players from other local participating pubs to play for the title of regional champion. The winner of the regional final will qualify for the VEGAS100 trip with the other top players qualifying for our UK national finals where they will have a further chance to qualify for the VEGAS100 trip.
Food & Drinks: The bar will be open for you to purchase refreshments and light snacks.
Fun and professional atmosphere: We will be using Redtooth Poker tables and casino chip sets to make it feel like your in the casino.
